Abstract: As a key active ingredient of the seven tree family chestnut, saponins from the seven leaves themselves have many synergistic therapeutic effects, such as anti edema, anti-inflammatory, etc. The article briefly describes the pharmacological mechanism research progress of saponins from the perspectives of inhibiting gastric acid secretion and gastric emptying, antiinflammatory and anti edema, clearing reactive oxygen species, and synergistic anti-tumor effects. It is hoped that this can provide some reference and assistance for researchers.
