Objective: To analyze the clinical effect of floating needle therapy for vertebrobasilar artery insufficiency in middle-aged and elderly patients. Methods: 100 middle-aged and elderly patients with vertebrobasilar artery insufficiency were selected as the subjects of this study. They were divided into a reference group (using conventional therapy) and an intervention group (using floating needle therapy) according to a computer-blind selection method. Each group had 50 patients. All patients were admitted to our hospital from January 2021 to March 2023, and the therapeutic effects of the two groups were compared. Results: Before treatment, there was no difference between the two groups in the comparison of vertebral basilar artery blood flow (P>0.05); After treatment, the intervention group was lower than the reference group (P<0.05); The total therapeutic effect in the intervention group (96.00%) was higher than that in the reference group (84.00%), P<0.05.Conclusion: Floating needle therapy for vertebrobasilar artery insufficiency in the middle-aged and elderly has a significant effect, can improve blood flow velocity, and improve the overall efficacy, which is worthy of reference. |
