Objective: To analyze the impact of targeted nursing applied in the nursing process of pediatric pneumonia on nursing effectiveness. Method: 100 pediatric pneumonia patients who received nursing care in our hospital from April 2021 to April 2023 were selected as the reference subjects for this study. They were randomly divided into a control group and an observation group according to the proportion of 50 patients in each group using a random number table method. The control group received routine nursing care, while the observation group received targeted nursing care. Compare the differences in nursing effectiveness, symptom relief time, and nursing compliance between two groups of children under different nursing modes. The nursing effect of the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group (P<0.05), and the symptom relief was significantly shortened compared to the control group (P<0.05). The nursing compliance was higher than that of the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion: Applying targeted nursing to the nursing process of children with secondary pneumonia can effectively improve nursing effectiveness, quickly alleviate clinical symptoms, and improve patient nursing compliance.
