Objective: To study the effects of scraping therapy on pain and neck function recovery in patients with cervical spondylosis. Methods: A random number table method was used to divide 60 patients with cervical spondylosis admitted to our hospital from October 2022 to October 2023 into two groups. The control group (30 cases) received routine massage treatment, while the study group (30 cases) received scraping treatment. The degree of pain, neck pain, neck function, and health status scores of the two groups were compared. Results: After treatment, the pain index score, existing pain intensity score, visual simulation score, Northwick Park neck pain scale score, and cervical dysfunction index score of the study group were lower than those of the control group, with P<0.05; The concise health survey scale score of the research group was higher than that of the control group, with P<0.05. Conclusion: Guasha can effectively improve the symptoms and functions of neck pain in patients, and improve their health level.
